Painting and moving furniture...a real test of your marriage, LOL!

My hubby and I have been married over 18 years.
We're "lifers"...in it forever...through thick and thin.
We love each other more as the years go by.

However...
It doesn't go without saying, that we DO have our trying times.

For example...
Many couples argue over money, parenting, etc.

US...
We argue every time we have to paint or move furniture.

This weekend...
We did both.

We painted AND moved furniture.

Needless to say...
There was lots of crankiness, crabbiness, arguing, etc.

However...
The one difference in us and many other couples...
Is we don't hold grudges.

We may argue and gripe the whole time we're painting and moving...
But the minute it's over...
So is the crabbiness and arguing.

We're back to our normal happy selves as if nothing ever happened.
LOL!

And now...
We have a freshly painted family room.
And our family/living room area has been moved downstairs and our daycare room has been relocated upstairs.

We still have a few loose ends to tie up.
But things are starting to come together and flow quite nicely.

We are both sore...and exhausted...and hated giving up our whole weekend to scrub, clean, disinfect, paint, and move.

But in the long run...
It's gonna be worth it all!
