Yesterday we had a phonecall and the woman on the other end asked me if this was the home of Evan James.
Yes...I replied.
She promptly identified herself as a representative from Dolphin Travel the sponsor of the Candy Guessing Game at PumpkinFest on Saturday.
All four of us had entered our guesses on all three bins of candy.
Two of the bins were just a variety of hard candies...but one was full of CHOCOLATE!
So...she proceeds to tell me that Evan had guessed SPOT ON...RIGHT ON THE NOSE...the PERFECT number of chocolate bars in the one bin!
HE WON!!!
So...
She told us we could stop by and pick up the chocolate at our convenience.
They had it all bagged up in a special Halloween bag for him.
It was so cool!!!
He was pretty darn excited because according to him, "Nate has all the luck and I never win anything."
LOL!
What a day it was for Evan!
And by the way...in case you're wondering...
There were 103 candy bars in the bin! Teehee!
Congrats to Evan! It is always so fun to win something, but CHOCOLATE? That has to be the best, LOL!
