We had a really nice time at PumpkinFest Parade today. We went a little early...had to get Evan there by 2:15pm...but we left even a little earlier because we weren't sure what parking would be like. Turns out, we got to park right in Cityside's parking lot. AND...we saw Mr. Goode coming up the walk and he said that all the band members could wait in the band room and watch the football game right up until time to meet! How cool was that! So they all got to stay warm and dry! Here's a nice shot of the Cityside/Creekside Band (they played together today). Evan is the one with his hood up. I wished it had been down for the picture...but he said it had just been raining and he pulled it up during a break in their song. They were surprised when they got there...they ended up being given these really nice warm hooded jackets to wear. And as cold and damp as it was that was a nice suprise! Evan said they were so warm, he was almost hot! They aren't the correct school colors. Turns out these were older jackets the band had in storage from when Cityside's colors used to be blue/gold. Now they are brown/gold. Oh well...hey, it kept them warm and dry! LOL!
