Saturday, spur of the moment...we decided to take the boys on an adventure. We had heard about the New Salem Corn Maze at the PumpkinFest Parade here in Zeeland when they were marching through. They have a corn maze, kiddie rides, petting farm, hay rides, pumpkin patch, donuts and cider, and all kinds of other fun! They also have a Haunted Maze at night...which is something Nate and I wanted nothing to do with as we're not fans of the dark...so we stuck with the family fun during the day. LOL!
We took the tractor ride out to the corn maze...a little bumpy...but fairly comfy padded seats! It was a lot of fun. They had some cute little Halloween decorations made of hay bails...spiders, black cats, jack-o-lanterns, frankenstein, mummies, etc.

Here's The 3 Stooges being "corny" in the corn maze. LOL! At first it was really simple...but it got really challenging as we went on. There were alot of dead ends, forks in the road, and sprirals.

We had a wonderful adventure that day! No bickering! Beautiful weather! Funny thing was...after our beautiful sunny day...we no sooner got down the road heading home, and it started raining like crazy! We were so blessed to have gorgeous weather! If you're looking for family fun, the New Salem Corn Maze is a great place to take the fam for an enjoyable day. Oh...and there's more pics on my facebook!
