First day of school...SUCCESS!

Today was the boys' first day of school.

Evan is in 8th grade this year. I can't believe how fast middle school has gone. He is really liking all of his teachers so far...granted it's only the first day, LOL! He ended up getting Mrs. Deuel for math. Both of the boys had her in second grade. And she is now teaching middle school math.
Nate is in 3rd grade this year and he loves Mrs. Berghorst. She seems like a real sweetheart. She had each parent write a letter about their child so that she knows more about them...likes, dislikes, concerns, fears, etc. Then today she sent home a checklist...very complete and comprehensive I might add...about their learning styles and their strengths and weaknesses. I really like her style so far. And she's so personable...already sent a personal e-mail today regarding Nate's day.
We are looking forward to another great year. Both the boys really enjoy school and are happy to be back with their friends.
Nate is looking forward to more music and Spanish.
Ev is looking forward to Cross Country, band, and all the exciting trips the 8th grade takes this year!
Here's to another successful year!
